The Daily Show’s host Trevor Noah announced he would soon be departing from the show. This pleasantly surprised his audience, and also took them by surprise as it was delivered almost as an aside to a humorous story about Noah’s seventh anniversary on the show.
He was able to continue traveling after it became progressively harder for him to balance the show’s demanding production schedule.
Comedy Central issued a statement praising the work of comedian Trevor Noah, and noted that they are working on steps to take with him.

Before his hiring was announced, Noah had appeared on the show a few times and he was 31 years old.
Noah is making jokes about subjects (such as Chris Rock) and voicing his opinion on America’s choice.
He remixed the show’s theme song and added a club-friendly beat, which made the original a rock anthem.
His memoir Born a Crime, has been published and it is currently a New York Times bestseller. He hosted the Grammy awards and he continues to do comedy tours around the country. He even appeared in the movie Black Panther.
