Uncles Peyton and Eli Manning’s school records are broken by Arch Manning
Arch Manning set a new record at Newman’s first game against Pearl River.
Arch Manning, a man with uncles Eli and Peyton, broke Newman’s High School Career Passing Yard and TD record. Apparently, Arch Manning is actually Arch Manning.
Leading the Broncos to a decisive victory, the starting lineup was pulled out at the 52-22 lead. The main passer, Manning threw for 356 yards and 7 touchdown passes.
Texas commit Arch only needs one more touchdown or passing yard to break the all-time record for touchdowns and passing yards at Isidore Newman High School.
The quarterback for the Greenies played a game on Friday night. He came into the game on the heels of his uncles and needed to get over 300 yards passing to take over their record of 7,268 yards. He had one touchdown and needed one more.
When the Defense had a record-setting achievement and then Arch, as well as the other team, showed up in the second quarter.
The University of Newman was cruising at the end of the first half by going up 24-0 and heading into halftime with a 38-7 lead. When time ran out in the fourth quarter, Greenies completed with a 52-22 victory.
Eli Manning lost his spot atop the Newman quarterback hierarchy, but Arch himself shattered Eli’s record.
