McDonald’s is the latest in a long tradition of advertising through children’s mediums. The restaurant identified a way to stand out further and created a Happy Meal just for adults with collectible toys including Grimace and the Hamburglar while partnering with Cactus Plant Flea Market.
you can choose between a “Classic” Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with fries and a drink. Each of these choices comes with one of four unique figurines.
Consumers can purchase McDonald’s-themed apparel in the Cactus Plant Flea Market, including shirts and sweatpants.
“We’re repackaging one of our customers’ favorite McDonald’s memories to make it hyper-relevant for our adult followers,” the company stated.
McDonald’s launched a limited edition box on Monday and made it available while supplies last. Customers can order it in-restaurant or through the drive-thru, as well as by delivery or the McDonald’s app.
The more purchases customers made on the app, the better the chance they had at scoring exclusive merchandise. Customers were automatically entered for a chance to win when they bought the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box on their McDonald’s mobile app.
