Kyra Harris Bolden
Kyra Harris Bolden, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives is running for the Michigan Supreme Court.
Bolden has been the state representative for Michigan, US. In her bid for re-election in 2020, she won the Democratic primary against Shadia Martini and was subsequently elected 2020.
Kyra Harris Bolden, an attorney, and representative of Southfield, Michigan, is serving her second term in the state house. A graduate from her local public schools, Representative Harris studied at Grand Valley State University in Michigan before getting her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Bolden is a member of the Judiciary Committee, and she has focused her work on criminal justice reform. The Rep. has been successful in enacting important bipartisan pieces of legislation, such as the “Address Confidentiality for Survivors of Domestic Violence” package, the “Medically Frail” prison reform package, and the modification of the Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation Act.
