Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves is in the NBA world’s prayers.

Towns is back with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he won’t start in the team’s upcoming preseason opener. From the sound of things, Towns was really sick.
Towns revealed to the media today that he very recently began walking once more on Saturday. Towns said that he had an illness not related to COVID and weight loss that left him down to 231 pounds. Typically, Towns is listed at 250 pounds.
He is part of a generation who are bearing the brunt of the new zombie virus. He would like to let people know that he is doing as best can be expected with his parents gone and him about to graduate.
The Timberwolves will not have Karl-Anthony Towns for tomorrow night’s preseason opener against the Miami Heat, but we’ll see if he is healthy enough to play in their following matchup against the Lakers.
