Georgia football injury updates as of now

Georgia is looking for another win against Missouri and has been successful in the past against the Tigers. The last time Georgia beat Missouri was last November’s game, a 43-6 victory.

The Bulldogs have multiple players with injuries.

Freshman running back Andrew Paul had a promising first fall camp, but he needed to undergo surgery after tearing his ACL. He is now focused on rehab.

The Bulldogs had a real scare last Saturday when it appeared that Kenny McIntosh was hit in his knee. Luckily, it turned out that the injury was not as serious as it looked and McIntosh was helped off of the field.

McIntosh will certainly play tonight, but how much has yet to be determined.

Smart said McConkey has stepped up his reps and it is possible that he will play against Missouri.

McConkey has been limited in practice to limit his volume and he’s been practicing much better this week.

Arian Smith was actively working with his fellow receivers during the warm-up session.

Though Dylan Smith was dressed and participated in warm-ups for last week’s game against Kent State, he never saw the field. During an update on Tuesday, head coach Dabo Swinney said Dylan Smith has practiced more this week than fellow wide receiver AD Mitchell (ankle).

Smart updates his view on Smith. Furthermore, it is clear at this time that there is no timetable for Smith’s return.

Wide receiver AD Mitchell is warming up for the game against Missouri, but we don’t know how much he will play.

Mitchell warmed up during the game last week, but he did not dress out. He was not warming up with the rest of the receivers as kickoff approached.

Mitchell, a senior for the Georgia Bulldogs, has missed the past two games with an ankle injury. This occurred during the game against Samford on September 9, as he had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Georgia’s Jalen Carter only played one snap. He didn’t play much in the team’s game against Kent State. He has also been limited in play against South Carolina.

Butch Carter (Georgia LB) was playing during the warm-ups for tonight’s game

When asked about Carter, Smart said that Carter has looked much better this week, and has been taking on more volume at practice.

Georgia’s Xavian Sorey joined the team for warm-ups and was not limited in pre-game work.

Smart said that Sorey has a positive outlook and is fine after not playing against Kent State. Tykee Smith also was cleared by Smart, and the team looks forward to Missouri week.

Smart was not forthcoming on his opinion about Bullard, who was arrested and charged with misdemeanors. This could be because the sophomore will not be playing.
