Christian Eriksen
Christian Eriksen, a midfielder for Denmark, claims that his team’s World Cup goals have increased as a result of the boost they received from their run to the European Championship semifinals last year.
The team overcame the devastating loss of Eriksen to a heart attack in their Euro 2020 opener against Finland to advance out of its group and reach the semifinals, where they were defeated by England at Wembley.
Denmark’s request to train at the World Cup in shirts that read “human rights for all” was denied by FIFA, according to the Danish Football Association (DBU), who made the announcement on Thursday.
“It was a FIFA decision, and they admitted it was incorrect that the World Cup was held in Qatar; that’s where the error originated,” Eriksen added.

“However, to portray us, athletes, as politicians is something we will never be. We are soccer players who compete for FIFA-affiliated national teams, and FIFA has chosen to play in Qatar.
Where are the boundaries, and what are the potential outcomes? Eriksen enquired.
Denmark’s World Cup campaign begins on November 22 against Tunisia, followed by matches against France four days later and Australia on November 30.
