Phoenix’s Upbeat Single
Check Out Phoenix’s Upbeat Single “Alpha Zulu” Performance on “Kimmel”
Phoenix appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform “Alpha Zulu,” one of their most recent singles. The upbeat post-disco song is off Phoenix’s upcoming album, Alpha Zulu, which will be released on November 4 via Loyaute/Glassnote Records.
Phoenix created Alpha Zulu, which was recorded at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. The band’s title track, which includes Ezra Koenig, was released in June. It was followed by “Tonight.” Alpha Zulu is a word that frontman Thomas Mars “heard a pilot repeating over the radio during a difficult flight in a storm,” according to a press release. This prompted Thomas Mars to write the song. After Ti Amo from 2017 comes the group’s first album in five years.
